Cover Choices for Sleuth Sisters #7

We're in Green Bay, Wisconsin, but the direction I thought the story would go changed, so instead of city-scapes, we have woods. Here are the two covers we're looking at, and I'd love your input. Tell me which you like AND what you notice that looks out of place or dimension. I can get it fixed, but after while my eyes see the whole, not the individual parts.

  1. I like the green cover better, but would like the area and font of your name to be as laid out in the blue cover and the series info on the green to have the font, shading and size of the blue cover.

  2. I really like the blue cover! It looks wintery which goes along with the mittens. I like the green one also but it looks more springy and summery. The mittens look out of place on that cover. I'm really excited that there's a seventh book!

    1. Thanks for telling me. You agree with my husband, but everyone else who replied likes the green. I'm glad you're excited about the book. I never know how many is "enough" in a series. MP

    1. Susan, please don't confuse me! :) Most people liked the green, so that's what I went with, though I agree the blue looks more wintry. I guess the "cold" look doesn't appeal to everyone.
Thank you for the compliments. I've got Book Seven done in rough form, and I'm leaving it to "rest" for a week or two before I go back to it. (That's when I wonder "What was I thinking when I wrote THAT?") My target date is May 2019, but stay tuned! Peg a.k.a MP
